On October 4, 2026, it had been five years since SETTWOR released Light Wave, his first official track. Daniil Shulha was 14 when it came out on October 4, 2021.[1]
His interest in music started earlier. Light Wave was the first time he officially shared his work.
From simple beats to a music career
SETTWOR began learning music production from scratch in 2018. He started with simple beats and worked things out through practice and trial and error, mostly on his own. He wanted to understand how tracks were made.[3]
In 2020 he took the name SETTWOR and opened a YouTube channel. Light Wave followed the next year.
As he says in his biography, hearing that people were listening to his tracks felt almost unreal. Every stream gave him a reason to keep going.
Finding his sound
On May 8, 2022, he released LUNATIC, his first track in the phonk genre. Phonk became the main direction of his early releases.
His sound began to change with DON’T STOP in December 2023. In 2024 he released his first full-length album, GET IT, Vol.1. It included GOT ME UP 2, later his most successful track. On March 28, 2025, he released BREAKPOINT Mixtape. After it he started exploring Brazilian funk, house and EDM.[2][5][6][7]
Five years of growth
His YouTube channel grew, his catalog grew, and his releases reached more listeners on streaming platforms.[4]
In October 2025, SETTWOR reached one million total streams across digital platforms, counting from his first release. In 2026 GOT ME UP 2 passed one million streams on its own, and newer releases set new records for him.
His first collaboration with another artist came in September 2026, when SE TU QUER was re-released with Mc Baiano.
